Title: Warehouse Associate (Day and afternoon shift)

Location: Mooresville, IN 46158


Day shift: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri

Afternoon shift: 3pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri

Notes: Must have forklift and other warehouse equipment to access inventory

Job Description:

Inventory Accuracy & Cycle Counting:

  • Perform scheduled and ad hoc cycle counts for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Maintain a consistent cycle count process that supports a minimum of 99% inventory accuracy.
  • Accommodate customer requested counts as needed.

Discrepancy Investigation & Resolution:

  • Research and analyze inventory discrepancies, including quantity variances and material movements.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, production, and office personnel to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely system adjustments when discrepancies are validated.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Prepare and distribute monthly cycle count reports to CAMs, the Office Manager, and the Warehouse Manager.
  • Clearly communicate findings, trends, and repeat discrepancies, including recommended process improvements.

Systems & Inventory Controls:

  • Complete warehouse work order count requests from the office team accurately and efficiently.
  • Support and participate in the monthly Perpetual Inventory process.
  • Utilize the WMS system for inventory transactions and tracking; demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt as system enhancements occur.

Equipment Operation:

  • Safely operates a forklift and other warehouse equipment as required to access inventory.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and food defense policies while performing inventory activities.

Other Duties

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse and operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of inventory principles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Excel.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory systems preferred; willingness to learn Traverse required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams.
