Medical Front Office Specialist (Temporary) Location: Phoenix, AZ Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Job Type: Temporary | Full-Time A well-established healthcare organization in Phoenix is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Medical Front Office Specialist for a temporary assignment. As a third-party recruiting partner, we are looking for professionals who enjoy interacting with patients, managing administrative tasks, and contributing to a positive healthcare experience. - Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer incoming calls and assist with appointment scheduling
- Check patients in and out for appointments
- Verify insurance, demographic, and contact information
- Collect and process patient paperwork and intake forms
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and office staff
- Assist with administrative and clerical duties as needed
- Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous medical front office, receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computers, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment
- Professional demeanor and attention to detail
- Medical receptionist or front desk experience
- Patient registration and appointment scheduling
- Insurance verification
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)
- Healthcare customer service
- High-volume phone support
