Adecco is seeking an experienced Lead Journeyman Electrician for an exciting opportunity with a valued client in Owatonna, Minnesota. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed electrician who is passionate about mentoring others, driving quality workmanship, and leading electrical operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As the Lead Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installation activities, supporting and developing team members, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, and collaborating with production leadership to deliver high-quality projects.
What You'll DoLead and support a team of electricians and electrical apprentices.
Install electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, and equipment.
Install switchgear, electrical panels, and other electrical distribution equipment.
Measure, bend, and install conduit.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose wiring issues and electrical malfunctions.
Perform electrical maintenance and repairs as needed.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, specifications, and construction documents.
Ensure all electrical work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable codes and company standards.
Collaborate with quality, production, and leadership teams to ensure project success.
Train, mentor, and develop team members to support continuous improvement and growth.
Maintain tools, equipment, and an organized work area.
Support production operations and help drive efficiency and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License required.
Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising electrical personnel preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of electrical experience in manufacturing, construction, commercial, or industrial environments.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration among team members.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the workday.
Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when necessary.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines.
