Clinical - Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

Perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, and updating patient records

Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort during visits

Support medical staff with administrative tasks as needed

Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean clinical environment

Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth patient flow and clinic operations

Required Skills

High School Diploma or GED required; additional completed education is a plus

Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or education in a healthcare setting

Certification as a Medical Assistant is necessary

Ability to perform clinical procedures accurately and efficiently

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Skills & Requirements

Relevant professional licenses or certifications (e.g., Medical Assistant certification)

Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols

Experience working in a clinical or mobile healthcare setting preferred

Availability to work Monday through Friday during 8-hour shifts; some weekend work may be required

Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and medical clearance, including TB testing and hepatitis B vaccination or titer

Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete necessary I-9 verification
