Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Galion, OH

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy in Galion, OH is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage during select periods throughout the year. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, but pharmacist hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no lunch closure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and process over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software
• Perform data entry and data verification accurately and efficiently
• Respond to phone inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Conduct product verification and sign for controlled and narcotic drug deliveries
• Collaborate with a team supported by three full-time pharmacy technicians
• Provide coverage during vacation periods: August 10-14, September 14-18, and November 25

Qualifications:

• Current, clear, and active Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficient with pharmacy software and data entry tasks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high prescription volume

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM during coverage periods
