Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification.
• Experience working with K-2 students or with Life Skills curriculum preferred.
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities.
• Passion for nurturing children with diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with fellow educators and families.
• Ability to implement individualized instruction and adapt lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Life Skills lessons tailored to each student’s IEP.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that empowers young learners.
• Monitor progress through assessments and adjust instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and families to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
• Encourage independence and daily living skills in a nurturing and structured setting.
