Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working in special education settings, especially with early learners
• Understanding of Life Skills curriculum and individualized instruction
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
• Ability to adapt lessons and strategies to meet varied learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to students in a K-2 Life Skills classroom
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with team guidance
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other team members
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to families
• Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and special events
