Speech Language Pathologist in Hanover, PA

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students’ growth and communication skills as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist, working with children from Early Intervention through K-12 settings. This position is based near Hanover, PA, and offers the chance to serve dynamic school communities in both regular education and specialized settings.

There are three openings available for experienced, compassionate SLPs:

Role A: Two SLPs are needed to support the North Eastern School District, working from 8 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday (35 hours/week) from August 18, 2026, to May 27, 2027. Caseloads include 50-55 students across two elementary buildings, working with both regular education and students needing Autism support, and some case management.

Role B: One SLP will provide Early Intervention services in the New Oxford/Gettysburg area for ages 3-5 with special education needs. This year-round role offers frequent school breaks and includes dedicated paperwork time.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania SLP certification and teaching certification required, submitted at the time of application.
• Experience with K-12 students and/or early childhood special education preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• CFs considered if supervision fee is covered by agency; SLPAs are not eligible for these roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person therapy and assessment for assigned caseload.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success.
• Manage documentation, create individualized plans, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Provide case management as needed.
