Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hybrid School Job
Job Description
Soliant is partnered with a school district in the Palmdale, CA area who needs a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 School Year. This is a full time contract assignment providing services to students from Kindergarten to 8th Grade. Qualified applicants will have a current California SLP License, ASHA Certification, and previous experience in school settings.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of SLP experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of diagnostics, therapy planning, and delivery for K-8 students
- Familiarity with IEP procedures, documentation, and progress reporting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and caseloads
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in multiple schools covering various FMLA leaves
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with district and state requirements
- 40-hour work week with up to 5 hours available for remote/off-site work
Compensation Details:
- Hourly Pay: $65-$75
