Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates are welcome to apply
  • Experience working with children in educational settings is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and therapy techniques for diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide individualized and group therapy sessions addressing articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and meet compliance deadlines
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes and classroom participation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
