School Psychologist - Berryton, Kansas

Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a contract school psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This role involves working with pre-K through 5th-grade students, some of whom have behavioral needs. The position follows a hybrid work schedule: spend three days on campus and enjoy the flexibility of two remote days each week. The contract runs from August 6, 2026, through May 20, 2027, with an optional psychologist meeting on July 29th if you are available.

Key Qualifications:

• Current license as a School Psychologist
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary populations
• Familiarity with behavioral interventions and strategies preferred
• Ability to manage a varied caseload (exact student count to be determined)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and capable of adapting to both remote and in-person settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, deliver counseling, and support students’ academic and emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education and intervention plans
• Address behavioral challenges with evidence-based strategies
• Participate in case conferences, IEP meetings, and school-wide initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all pertinent regulations
