\n We are seeking a motivated Flux Core Welder specializing in assembling and welding the heavy metal frameworks used in buildings, bridges, cranes, and industrial facilities. Fabricators will work with large structural steel components like I-beams, channels, and heavy plates to ensure the backbone of a structure is safe and load-bearing. \n

\n Job Duties: \n
\n
    \n
  • Measure, position, and align heavy steel beams and columns using levels, plumb bobs, and lasers.
    • \n
  • Interpret complex structural blueprints and structural welding symbols.
    • \n
  • Operate hoist systems to safely move steel components into place
    • \n
  • Execute high-strength welds on thick materials, typically using Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
    • \n
  • Utilize oxy-fuel, plasma, or carbon arc gouging torches to cut, trim, or bevel heavy steel plates to fit.
    • \n

\n Requirements: \n
\n
    \n
  • 2+ Years Flux Core Welding experience
    • \n
  • Material Knowledge: Deep understanding of structural steel grades (like A36 or A572) and how heat affects structural integrity.
    • \n
  • Joint Preparation: Knowledge of V-groove and bevel joints to ensure deep weld penetration.
    • \n
  • Physical Capabilities: High stamina for working in a shop environment and lifting heavy equipment in noisy shop environments – 50+ Lbs

\n Schedule: Monday – Saturday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Summer Hours 6AM-4PM)\n

\n Pay: $20-$25 depending on experience\n
