Animal Caregivers

This role is focused on the daily care and monitoring of research animals, primarily mice. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting daily health and welfare checks on animal colonies (up to ~2,000 cages per day depending on assignment).
• Providing routine husbandry, including checking food and water, identifying animals that appear sick or distressed, and ensuring proper living conditions.
• Performing cage changes and cage washing/sanitation activities, with productivity expectations that vary by facility.
• Supporting weekend animal care operations after training.
• Working across multiple vivarium facilities, following established animal care and research protocols.
• Collaborating with a team to maintain animal welfare and support ongoing research studies.
