Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in school psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or license as a school psychologist
  • Experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and parents
  • Familiarity with IEP/504 processes and response-to-intervention (RTI) strategies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical practices
  • Adaptable to dynamic school environments and various student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to help identify students’ strengths and needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input for individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families on effective evidence-based interventions
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and provide short-term counseling or referrals as needed
  • Promote a positive school climate through social-emotional learning activities and training
  • Document services and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
