This contract opportunity, based near New York, NY, is for a leave coverage position from August through November 4th. Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in school settings, preferably K-12
• Strong understanding of educational testing, assessments, and interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to write and interpret psychoeducational reports
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop IEPs and other student support plans
• Provide social-emotional and behavioral interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs
• Offer consultation services and crisis intervention as needed
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and records
• Promote positive learning environments and advocate for students’ mental health
