Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Knowledge of IEP process, documentation, and therapeutic techniques for school-aged children
- Ability to manage a caseload and adapt to the changing needs of diverse students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop appropriate intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school setting
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting and reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance with school and state guidelines
- Partner with teachers and other service providers to support classroom participation and student independence
- Provide resources and education for families to facilitate carryover of skills at home
