Key Qualifications:

• Active OT or COTA license in Illinois
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt interventions for students with diverse needs
• Commitment to fostering inclusion and maximizing student’s functional outcomes

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Evaluate students to identify needs impacting participation and performance in the school setting
• Develop tailored intervention plans and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of interventions, progress, and communications
• Contribute to IEP meetings and assist in meetings to recommend equipment, adaptations, or strategies to empower student success
• Travel between nearby sites may be required for some assignments
