Job Description

This full-time, contract-based position starts July 27th and continues through May 27th, offering a dynamic and supportive school environment. You'll make a positive impact while managing diverse responsibilities across 2-3 locations.
Utilize your expertise to support students, families, and educators while handling a manageable, engaging caseload. With 37.5 hours per week, the role will focus on conducting approximately 8-10 evaluations each month, providing valuable psychological insights and interventions for a caseload of about 60-80 students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for certification)
- Demonstrated experience in a school setting, with knowledge of evaluation processes and special education requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining thorough documentation
- Passion for supporting students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students pre-K through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services
- Assist in the development of effective behavior intervention plans and academic support strategies
- Maintain detailed, timely records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Rotate between 2-3 school sites, fostering strong relationships within school communities
