This contract role is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated educators with a passion for helping students succeed. You’ll work onsite for 37.5 hours weekly, providing crucial support and instruction to learners with learning disabilities.

What you'll bring:

  • Active South Carolina Special Education Certification, or status showing certification is pending
  • Experience teaching students with learning disabilities (preferred)
  • Strong skills in classroom management and differentiated instruction
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with support staff and other educators
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and organizational skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Teach and support students in a self-contained learning disabilities classroom
  • Deliver engaging lessons modified to meet varying needs, following IEPs and district curriculum
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture to promote student growth
  • Maintain up-to-date records and complete required documentation accurately and on time
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
  • Collaborate with specialists, aides, and administration for holistic student support
