We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter/Welder to join our team in a dynamic metal fabrication shop environment. This role is crucial for assembling and joining metal components to fabricate structures, machinery, or heavy equipment according to precise engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong blueprint reading capabilities and be proficient in MIG welding.

Fitter/Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 to $32.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:30pm)

• Interpret and accurately follow engineering blueprints, schematics, and other technical specifications.
• Precisely fit, align, and secure metal components using appropriate tools, clamps, and tack welds. Perform high-quality MIG welding to permanently join components, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to quality standards.
• Fabricate a variety of metal structures, machinery, and heavy equipment. Inspect finished welds and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all shop safety protocols, procedures, and company policies.

Fitter/Welder Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fitter/Welder.
• Proficieny in MIG welding.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Capable of occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
