Draw quality blood samples from patients of all ages, ensuring safety and accuracy during collection.
Prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
Explain procedures to patients to create a trusting and comfortable environment.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of collections and patient information.
Create a professional and safe environment for patients and staff.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
Meet daily productivity goals reliably and efficiently.
Support organizational efforts to promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public.
Required Skills
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience drawing blood from pediatric and geriatric patients.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and documentation.
Proficiency in keyboard and data entry tasks.
Additional Skills & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Minimum of 6 months of direct phlebotomy experience is required; one year or more preferred.
Medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to arrive within 20-25 minutes of the worksite.
Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, with a commitment to punctuality and full shift coverage.
