LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a company near Itasca, IL with a search for an accounting specialist. This a temporary to hire role and onsite. They are looking for someone that can handle accounts payable and general accounting tasks. This role offers variety with responsibilities and growth potential.

Responsibilities:

Review and process accounts payable

Ensure payment accuracy and approvals in a timely manner

Communicate with vendors

Discrepancy resolution

Reconcile vendor statements and accounts

Manage the 1099 and W9 process

Bank reconciliations

Prepare journal entries

Reports for month end close

Ad hoc projects

Requirements:

Associates or Bachelor degree in Accounting or similar preferred

2 years + of experience in a similar role

Excellent communication skills

Ability to manage deadlines and be detailed

ERP experience

Comfortable with Excel

Pay: $29-$35/hour

Pay Details: $29.00 to $35.00 per hour
