Supply Chain Analyst (Contract)

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $35-$38/hour

Job Type: Contract

Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to support supply chain and operations initiatives for a growing organization in Chicago. This hybrid contract role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working with data, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, and supply planning activities.
  • Support purchasing, logistics, and operations teams with reporting and analysis.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards and reports for leadership.
  • Investigate supply chain issues and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and service levels.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support operational goals.
  • Assist with forecasting, inventory management, and procurement planning.
  • Maintain accurate data within ERP systems and supply chain platforms.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of supply chain, inventory, procurement, logistics, or operations analysis experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JDE, or similar.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
  • Manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products industry experience.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
