\n As an Experienced Registered Nurse, you will play an essential role in caring for patients with some of the most complex cardiovascular conditions. Working alongside a nationally recognized multidisciplinary team, you will leverage evidence-based practices, advanced technologies, and your clinical expertise to deliver exceptional care. A caregiver in this position works 7:00am—7 30pm or 7:00pm—7:30am. Rotating weekends and holidays.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:
\n- \n
- \n
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services to hospitalized patients in various healthcare settings.
\n
- \n
- \n
Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
\n
- \n
- \n
Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
\n
- \n
- \n
Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
\n
- \n
- \n
Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team.
\n
- \n
- \n
Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
\n
- \n
- \n
Evaluate, initiate and maintain standards of care.
\n
- \n
- \n
Educate patients and families.
\n
- \n
- \n
Cover other nursing roles in the department.
\n
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

- \n
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
\n
- \n
- \n
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
\n
- \n
- \n
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
\n
- \n
- \n
*Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within two months of hire
\n
- \n
- \n
One-year of current acute care RN experience. Will consider military RN experience
\n
\n
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
\n
Physical Requirements:

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
\n - \n
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
\n - \n
Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
\n - \n
Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
\n - \n
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Pay Range
\n \nMinimum hourly: $35.50
\n \nMaximum hourly: $55.60
