Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming academic year. Five onsite roles are available for dynamic, compassionate educators ready to make a significant impact on student success. These positions begin with new teacher orientation and proceed through the full school year, with a variety of caseloads spanning elementary and middle school levels, including behavior and adaptive programs.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid and active Arizona Department of Education Certification in Special Education
- Current Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by Arizona authorities
- Prior experience teaching in elementary, K-8, or middle school settings (behavior, resource, or adaptive programs preferred)
- Confidence with behavior management strategies and IEP implementation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to delivering engaging, differentiated instruction
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement individualized educational programs tailored to diverse student abilities
- Provide direct instruction, behavioral support, and adaptive strategies for assigned caseloads (elementary or middle school resource/behavior/adaptive programs)
- Regularly assess student progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student growth
- Maintain professional documentation in compliance with district and state standards
- Participate in new teacher orientation (prior to the school year) and ongoing professional development initiatives
- Engage actively with families, staff, and administration to foster an inclusive learning environment
