Embrace a rewarding opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to support K-12 students, working across two to three schools near Ventura, CA. This contract position is ideal for experienced clinicians seeking a dynamic, supportive setting with a mix of direct and indirect student engagement. With a manageable caseload of 65 students, you’ll help shape positive educational outcomes and foster vital communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Comfortable working on-site; open to itinerant assignments
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes; training on district systems provided

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive SLP services to students in grades K-12
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to implement IEP goals
  • Travel between 2-3 assigned school locations as needed
  • Complete required documentation, progress notes, and IEP reports
  • Participate in team meetings and utilize indirect/admin time for planning and coordination
  • Coordinate therapy sessions using dedicated spaces provided by the district
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards
