Speech Language Pathologist in New Oxford, PA
Job Description
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and learning needs in the New Oxford, Gettysburg, and York areas. Three onsite Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for in-person positions within established educational settings, serving both Early Intervention (EI) and K-12 populations.
Open Roles:
- Role A: Two onsite providers for K-12 across North Eastern School District, working 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, for a total of 35 hours per week from August 18, 2026 through May 27, 2027. Manage a caseload of 50-55 students across Conewango and Mt. Wolf Elementary, supporting both regular education and Autistic Support classrooms, with some case management responsibilities.
- Role B: One onsite provider for Early Intervention, supporting children ages 3-5 with special education needs in New Oxford/Gettysburg on a year-round schedule, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This role includes dedicated paperwork time each week and frequent school breaks.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP certification
- Teaching certification required (must be submitted with your resume)
- Clinical Fellow (CF) applicants are welcome if agency provides supervision fee
- SLPAs are not eligible for these roles
- Previous experience in a school or early intervention setting is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy tailored to students’ IEPs or IFSPs
- Collaborate with school teams and families for comprehensive care
- Conduct assessments and maintain required documentation
- Manage cases and support inclusive classroom environments
