Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity specializing in pediatric speech-language pathology. This role is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials, who is passionate about supporting early learners.
Work two days a week during the 2026-2027 school year, starting August 18. Your primary focus will be preschool students, offering critical support at a foundation stage of development. Collaboration is a cornerstone here—you’ll be joining a supportive onsite team that includes three experienced SLPs, allowing for innovative teamwork, resource sharing, and a strong community of practice.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood speech/language development
- Effective communication with children, educators, and families
- Skillful in assessment, intervention, and IEP development
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments for preschool-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings
- Document student progress and maintain detailed records
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and fellow SLPs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your clinical expertise
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate therapeutic environment
