Desired Skills and Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Minnesota
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) participants welcome to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
  • Knowledge of IEP process, goal setting, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students in individual and/or group settings
  • Conduct assessments and determine eligibility for speech services
  • Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student success
  • Maintain detailed session notes and progress reports in compliance with district and state standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and professional development as needed
