This contract position begins September 1, covering an initial full-time maternity leave until Thanksgiving, then transitions to a flexible two-days-per-week schedule through the remainder of the school year. Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Previous experience in schools or with school-age children is preferred
  • Comfortable managing a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through high school
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students in K-12
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
  • Deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions both individually and in groups
  • Provide consultation and resources to educational staff across three campuses
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
