Job Description
Launch your next adventure as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, working with a vibrant student population aged 18 months to 6 years. This contract position, based in Albuquerque, NM, begins August 3, 2026, and extends through June 4, 2027, offering a consistent 40-hour work week and a manageable caseload of 40 students. You’ll play an instrumental role in supporting early learners, helping them build crucial communication skills during a pivotal stage of development.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possesses current, valid licensure (NM state license or eligibility for licensure)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services for individuals and small groups
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and provide input for IEPs
- Attend relevant meetings, professional development, and in-service training sessions
- Support students in achieving developmental and educational milestones through targeted interventions
