Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in West Hartford, CT

What we're seeking:

• Current and active Connecticut SLP-CCC license (required)
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies tailored to PreK-8 populations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families, faculty, and interdisciplinary teams

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services to students on assigned caseload
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Implement evidence-based therapy interventions in accordance with student goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to facilitate carryover and maximize student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports as required by state and district guidelines
• Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and family consultations
