School Psychologist - Auburn, KS

Bring your expertise in school psychology to support elementary students on an impactful contract assignment for the 2026-27 academic year. This unique hybrid position offers the chance to collaborate both on-site and virtually, serving pre-K through 5th grade learners, including those requiring behavioral support.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with elementary-aged students (pre-K through 5th grade preferred)
• Strong understanding of behavioral support and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of assessments, IEP development, and data-driven evaluation practices
• Comfortable balancing in-person responsibilities and remote work tasks as part of a hybrid schedule
• Ability to provide references at the interview stage

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
• Support interventions and programming for students presenting behavioral and academic needs
• Participate actively in problem-solving teams and attend scheduled meetings, including an initial psychologist meeting in late July if available
• Deliver counseling, crisis prevention, and regular progress monitoring for students as assigned
• Maintain timely documentation and reporting in compliance with district protocols and state guidelines
