School Psychologist - Meriden, KS

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students as a School Psychologist serving a diverse Pre-K–5th grade caseload in a dynamic contract role. This hybrid opportunity offers the flexibility of working two days remotely and three days on-site from early August through late May, with a chance to attend a pre-year psych meeting in late July if available. You'll collaborate with educators and families to support the behavioral and educational needs of students, providing essential guidance and interventions while contributing to a supportive school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active School Psychologist license
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, ideally with both behavioral and academic needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Proficiency in assessment, data interpretation, and developing intervention strategies
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload with flexibility and adaptation to changing needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments, counseling sessions, and crisis interventions for students in Pre-K through 5th grade
• Develop and implement individualized education and behavioral plans in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
• Support positive behavior interventions and school-wide programs to foster student success
• Provide consultation and training for teachers and parents to address diverse student needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
• Participate in team meetings, including a required start-of-the-year session on July 29th when possible
