School-Based Physical Therapist - New Castle, DE
Job Description

This contract opportunity offers a flexible schedule with the chance to contribute in both traditional school settings and directly support students who are medically homebound. The position will run from late August 2026 through early June 2027, with availability for both full-time and part-time schedules.
Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware Physical Therapist license (required for all candidates)
- Experience delivering physical therapy in a school environment strongly preferred
- Willingness and ability to support students in both school and homebound settings
- Strong communication and organization skills to adapt to evolving caseloads
- Up-to-date resume for consideration
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide school-based physical therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Travel within the district to work with homebound students as required
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and care teams to ensure cohesive support
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes per district and regulatory requirements
- Adapt strategies as the caseload fluctuates throughout the year
