Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or ability to obtain one prior to start
- Internship or previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Proficiency with assessment tools, MTSS/RTI process, and IEP development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork with staff, students, and families
- Positive, solution-oriented approach to working with diverse populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs, behavior intervention plans, and individualized student supports
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to provide strategies for academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success
- Deliver counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate in data-driven decision-making and monitor progress toward student goals
- Lead and support initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive school climate
