Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator

\n

Overview:

\n

We are seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to support floor-level safety programs in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures OSHA compliance, drives proactive hazard prevention, and leads safety training and incident investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct daily safety walk-throughs and risk assessments

    • \n
  • \n

    Develop Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) with supervisors

    • \n
  • \n

    Lead safety meetings and training sessions

    • \n
  • \n

    Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

    • \n
  • \n

    Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and hazardous waste management

    • \n
  • \n

    Track safety metrics and recommend program improvements

    • \n

Qualifications:

    \n
  • \n

    High school diploma or GED (OSHA 511 training preferred)

    • \n
  • \n

    2+ years supervisory experience in safety or manufacturing

    • \n
  • \n

    Knowledge of hazard recognition, mitigation, and compliance standards

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong communication and coaching skills
