JOB SUMMARY
\nEstimators provide technical estimation of electrical projects from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer.
\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
\n- \n
- A working knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through completion of an electrical training program, two-year technical or business degree or related field; and \n
- 5 years' experience as an electrical estimator. \n

- Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality. \n
- Demonstrated conceptual estimates and financial analytical skills. \n
- Excellent oral and written communications skills. \n
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
\n- \n
- Quantity takeoff. \n
- Quantity takeoff entry into estimating software. \n
- Solicitation and review vendor and subcontractor quotations. \n
- Review current material pricing levels. \n
- Review and estimate addenda as required. \n
- Visit site and/or attend site walk meeting. \n
- Review bid/construction schedule. \n
- Draft and submit proposal documents. \n
- Follow post bid closeout procedures. \n
- Attend weekly estimating team meetings. \n
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned. \n
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
\n- \n
- Construction management degree. \n
- Experience in the construction industry. \n

- Requires travel: Minimal (up to 10%). \n
- Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position). \n
