Step into a vital role working on-site across a large, diverse district serving multiple schools with ongoing needs—especially within Setting 3 Autism programs at both primary and secondary levels. Your expertise will directly impact students in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education.
  • Background and experience working with autism spectrum disorder and/or Setting 3 programs strongly preferred.
  • Adaptable and collaborative approach to accommodate ever-evolving caseloads.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills for working with teachers, support staff, families, and students.
  • Commitment to a full school-year contract from late August into mid-June.

Role Highlights:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction and support tailored to students with diverse needs within Setting 3 programs.
  • Foster inclusive and engaging learning environments at both primary and secondary campuses.
  • Collaborate with IEP teams, support staff, and administration to ensure all students’ individualized goals are met.
  • Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in assessment and reporting.
  • Uphold district policies and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education.

This is a contract, on-site only position, requiring presence throughout each school week for 37.5 hours. The dynamic nature of the district ensures varied experiences and strong support networks, with placements determined by current needs.
