Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational environment! This position focuses on delivering high-quality speech-language pathology services to K-12 students across 2-3 sites, managing a caseload of approximately 65 students within a supportive school district. The preferred schedule is fully on-site, providing a chance to collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy, including assessment, direct intervention, and individualized student support.
- Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals, ensuring compliance with district requirements and special education regulations.
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as an active team member.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth and inclusion.
- Provide indirect services such as consultation, parent education, and resource sharing.
- Attend paid administrative meetings and receive dedicated time for planning and indirect work.
- Utilize district-specific IEP systems with full training provided.
- Travel between schools as needed (itinerant travel is compensated).
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with flexibility and resourcefulness.
