Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this full-time role, you'll provide dedicated services to a caseload of 40-50 students, primarily at the elementary level, with the flexibility to design your own schedule. The assignment spans the academic year, beginning in mid-August and concluding in late May, and covers six schools within the district, giving you a diverse and engaging environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Experience with K-12 students, with an emphasis on elementary-aged children
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel between schools as needed
  • Organizational skills to effectively manage caseload and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions
  • Conduct assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support the progress of each student
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of assessment, treatment, and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing evaluation of service effectiveness
  • Promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment across all assigned schools

Schedule and Environment:

  • Full-time, contract position aligned with the academic calendar (August to May)
  • Service will be provided at six schools, with the flexibility to create your own schedule based on caseload needs
