Job Description
Empower K-12 students with your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist on an exciting full-time contract assignment near Dallas, TX! This opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 13, 2026, and concluding May 21, 2027. You’ll work 40 hours per week, exclusively focusing on meaningful, school-based speech and language services with no extra duties outside of your contracted hours—leaving you time to focus on your passion and professional growth.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status
- Experience in K-12 educational settings highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered interventions
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students across K-12th grade
- Provide both direct and indirect services as outlined in student IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
