Key Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico PED Level II or III School Psychologist certification (required)
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Previous experience with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Clear communication abilities with students, families, and staff
- Adaptability to various school environments and age groups
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments
- Contribute to eligibility determinations and IEP development
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Serve as a resource for staff development and program planning
