Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ development and growth as a dedicated occupational therapist in a dynamic school setting near Hartford, CT. This onsite role, starting August 27, 2026 through the end of November, offers the chance to make a difference working across multiple campuses during the fall semester.

In this district-wide position, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and students to enhance access to education through therapy interventions tailored to individual needs. Your expertise will help students reach functional goals crucial to academic participation and independence. Covering 35 hours per week, you’ll support a diverse caseload and participate in interdisciplinary problem solving alongside caring professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid and active Connecticut OT license required
  • Previous school-based or pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Skilled at adapting interventions for diverse learning styles and needs
  • Strong communication abilities with students, families, and staff
  • Well-organized with the flexibility to travel across multiple school sites

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skill-building OT services to students with various needs
  • Assess student performance and develop targeted intervention plans
  • Collaborate with classroom staff and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student records
  • Offer consultative support to educators regarding sensory and motor accommodations
