Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher, supporting elementary and middle school students in a vibrant educational environment near Chester, PA. With five full-time openings (four in elementary schools and one in a middle school), you’ll be part of a dedicated professional community committed to student growth and success. This onsite position offers 35 hours per week, running from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027.
What We're Looking For:
- Completed PA clearances and active certification/licensure appropriate for special education caseload
- Bachelor’s degree required (eligible for emergency teaching permit)
- Proven success working in schools, with a preference for urban experience
- Skilled in fostering strong classroom and behavioral management
- Proficient in designing lesson plans aligned to state and district standards, using formative assessments and differentiated instruction
- Comprehensive understanding of special education instructional practices and resource materials
- Familiarity with district procedures and comfortable adapting to various school locations
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Availability to work onsite between 8:30AM-4PM, with set scheduling
