Job Description
Passionate about fostering early communication skills in young learners? Here’s a rewarding contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required) to make a lasting impact throughout the 2026-2027 school year. In this full-time, 12-month role, you’ll focus on early childhood students (birth to 5 years old) across three buildings, supporting approximately 45 students with diverse needs.
Your professional expertise will drive the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), with the dedicated assistance of an SLPA. Experience working within Native American communities or with early childhood populations is particularly valued for this position.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid CCC-SLP certification
- Previous experience in school-based or early childhood settings preferred
- Proficiency with IEPs and IFSPs documentation and processes
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity; experience with Native American populations is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy sessions for early childhood students onsite
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEP and IFSP goals
- Supervise and collaborate with a supporting SLPA
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation to meet legal and ethical standards
- Consult with families and staff to ensure comprehensive student support
