LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Production Planner to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining production schedules to ensure efficient workflow, optimal inventory levels, and on-time delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment, possess strong analytical skills, and be proficient in SAP production planning processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory requirements, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Service teams to align production plans with business objectives.
  • Utilize SAP to manage production orders, material planning, inventory transactions, and scheduling activities.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address changing priorities, material shortages, equipment downtime, or customer requirements.
  • Analyze production data and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure adequate material availability for production.
  • Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities by providing production forecasts and capacity analysis.
  • Work closely with manufacturing leadership to balance labor utilization, machine capacity, and production output.
  • Maintain accurate planning records and system data to support operational excellence.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of production planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing SAP for production planning, inventory management, and scheduling functions.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material requirements planning (MRP), forecasting, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with capacity planning, demand forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives is highly preferred.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
