Speech Language Pathologist - 26/27 SY

We're looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a welcoming school district in Alexandria, Louisiana for the upcoming school year. If you're passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills and thrive in the classroom, we'd love to hear from you!

Position Overview

Location: Alexandria, LA 71309
Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Student Population: K-12
Contract Dates: August 7, 2026-May 21, 2027

What You'll Do

• Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain timely documentation and progress reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and support student success across educational settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Louisiana SLP license or ability to obtain licensure before the start date.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are encouraged to apply.
• School-based experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
