School Speech Language Pathologist - Fremont, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth in an engaging school environment near Fremont, CA! This in-person assignment begins August 11 and offers a chance to collaborate with a dedicated educational team while covering family leave absences. Flexibility is key, as assignment length may vary—previous placements have ranged from several months to the full academic year.

Working up to 37.5 hours per week, you’ll serve a diverse caseload, not to exceed 55 students, with site assignments and locations to be determined. Student ages range from preschool through middle school (PK-5/6-8), allowing for variety and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
• Experience working in school settings (elementary and/or middle school preferred).
• California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort collaborating with teachers, families, and support teams.
• Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver direct therapy services.
• Manage a diverse caseload with organizational skill and attention to individualized needs.
• Document student progress and participate in school-based meetings.
• Provide consultation to educators and families to support student success.
• Adapt services to both individual and small-group settings as needed.
