Job Description
Step into an exciting role supporting elementary students as a CCC-SLP in a dynamic school environment. Starting August 6th and extending through May 14th, this full-time contract opportunity focuses on serving PreK-6th grade students at a single welcoming school site. You'll have the chance to make a positive impact, working 30 hours per week alongside dedicated educators and supportive staff.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with elementary-age students, ideally across PreK through 6th grade
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices, IEPs, and effective documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both children and adults
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders among a varied elementary-aged population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and regularly monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Provide ongoing support and intervention for articulation, language, and fluency concerns
- Maintain clear and organized records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student-centered solutions
